Aletha Van Meter is the Office Coordinator at The Law Office of Keith C. Thompson, where she has been greeting clients and managing administrative needs with professionalism and care for over twelve years. Originally from the San Fernando Valley of California, Aletha has called the Lubbock area home since 1978. With over 35 years of experience in bookkeeping and office management across various industries, she brings invaluable organizational skills and attention to detail to her role.

In her current position, Aletha wears many hats—serving as an administrative assistant, managing the office calendar, handling client billing and files, conducting client intake screenings, and answering phones. She also serves as a notary public for law office clients. Her ability to multi-task and adapt to the unique needs of every situation ensures that clients receive efficient and courteous service at every touchpoint.

Aletha has been married to Mike Van Meter for 47 years, and together they’ve raised four wonderful children. She cherishes spending time with their five grandchildren and remains actively involved in her church, where she and her husband serve.
